AstrumVPN
Setup

Get connected in 60 seconds

Astrum ships as a native iOS app. No subscription URLs to paste, no third-party clients to install — open the app, Sign in with Apple, tap Connect.

1

Download Astrum from the App Store

iOS 16 or later required. Search “Astrum VPN” on the App Store, or use the link on the Download page.

2

Sign in with Apple

On first launch you'll see the Apple sign-in sheet. Tap it and Apple authenticates you — no password to remember, no email to confirm. Apple can hide your real email behind a relay address if you prefer.

3

Subscribe

Choose Monthly (£4.08) or Yearly (£40.83) on the paywall. Billed through your Apple ID — same as any other App Store purchase. 7-day Apple refund window applies. Manage / cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions anytime.

4

Tap Connect

On the Home tab, the big indigo Connect button comes online. iOS will ask once for permission to add a VPN profile — tap Allow. After that, single tap = on, single tap = off. Auto-picks the fastest European server; tap Servers to choose manually.

Other platforms

Android, macOS and Windows native apps are on the roadmap (after we've stress-tested the iOS launch). In the meantime, Astrum uses the standard WireGuard protocol — any WireGuard client (the official wireguard.com apps, AmneziaWG, TunSafe) can use a config we generate for you. Email support@astrumvpn.com to request a manual config for early access.

Troubleshooting

A website still treats me as being in my old location

The site cached your pre-VPN session. Sign out of the site, force-quit its app or close the browser tab, reconnect Astrum, then sign back in. Most sites re-check IP only at login, not per-request.

VPN sheet appeared then nothing happens

iOS requires explicit permission the first time. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → Astrum and verify the profile is installed and the toggle is on. Then tap Connect again in the app.

Some apps stop working when VPN is on

A handful of region-locked apps (online banking, some broadcasters) need to see a local IP. Tap Disconnect in Astrum for those. Per-app split-tunneling is on our roadmap.

Streaming is slow on one server

Tap the Servers tab and try a different city. Different servers have different load profiles at different times of day — switching city is the fastest fix.
